Through their collective expertise, passion, and commitment, they work tirelessly to provide education, resources, and advocacy for the lymphedema community. Maurya Cockrell

Maurya Cockrell
Maurya D. Cockrell, DHPE, MHRM, PMP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, holds a Doctor of Health Professions Education degree and is a healthcare leader, educator, and scholar-practitioner. She is internationally recognized for her work in social determinants of health and elderspeak.
She has experience in healthcare leadership, population health, clinical education, workforce development, program management, and higher education. She has led healthcare initiatives focused on education, organizational improvement, provider experience, and advancing outcomes for patients and communities. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member, educating future healthcare professionals and leaders.
Having lived with lymphedema since childhood, Maurya brings both professional expertise and personal perspective to her role. As Director of Clinical Education, she leads the development of clinical and patient education, continuing education programs, professional learning opportunities, and collaborative partnerships.

Michael Cannon
Michael has worked in the medical compression industry for over 25 years, primarily focused on lymphedema and patient solutions. He is employed as Vice President of Lymphedema at Bauerfeind USA where he is building the US program. Michael has been on the Board of Directors of the National Lymphedema Network (NLN) since 2010, including time as the Board Chair.
Michael is a founding Board Member of the Lymphedema Advocacy Group and long-time advocate for better insurance coverage for lymphedema compression supplies. Michael is proud to have helped bring the Lymphedema Treatment Act to fruition and looks forward to continuing to support improved access to care for lymphedema patients.

Sean MacNeal
Sean has worked in the healthcare field for more than 15 years, having helped launch and/or build several brands in the U.S. and overseas primarily through an education-first based strategy. He currently serves as the VP of Business Development for Structure & Function Education and, through his company DelKi Health, works as a consultant for several other companies across the healthcare sector. He was elected to the board in July 2025.

Eric Ansart
Eric Ansart is President of Lympha Press USA and has served the lymphedema community for nearly 15 years. He holds an MS in Organizational Leadership and is committed to raising awareness and improving patient outcomes. A member of the National Lymphedema Network Board since 2021, Eric brings both professional insight and personal passion to his work. Eric lives in Northern Florida with his wife and two children.

Cheryl Brunelle

Cheryl Brunelle
Cheryl Brunelle is the Associate Director of the Lymphedema Research Program at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She is an APTA Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Physical Therapy and a certified lymphedema therapist. Her clinical practice focuses on the conservative treatment of patients at risk for or living with lymphedema and lipedema, in collaboration with the MGH lymphatic surgery program.
A strong advocate for lymphedema screening as a standard of care for breast cancer survivors, Cheryl has helped lead the MGH prospective screening program since its inception in 2005, which has screened more than 8,500 women. She was the first author of the recent LANA Risk Reduction Committee guidelines and serves on the Medical Advisory Committee for the National Lymphedema Network as well as the global oversight committee for the Lymphatic Education and Research Network.

Linda Hodgkins
Linda Hodgkins is the Lymphedema Program Manager at Hartford HealthCare Rehabilitation Network in Connecticut, where she leads a nationally recognized program designated as a Center of Excellence for Conservative Care by LE&RN. An Occupational Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist since 1997, she is passionate about advancing evidence-based care for patients with lymphedema and edema. She has presented internationally, including at the Földi Days Conference in Germany, the Power Lymphatics Conference, and the AVLS Congress. Linda is also a faculty member with Klose Training.

Louisa Boyd
Louisa Boyd holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Kansas. She received her lymphedema certification in 2011 from the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy and went on to obtain certification with the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA.) She was appointed as a regional liaison for LANA in 2012 and then was voted into the board of directors in 2013, where she remained an active member until 2021. During her lymphatic therapy career, she expanded the lymphedema program through her hospital system breast center to advocate for pre and post surgical lymphedema education and surveillance. She appeared on several public service commercials to educate on the topic of lymphedema, bioimpedance technology and axillary cording. She started a local lymphedema study group and organized a lymphedema educational event for medical professionals. In 2018, she went to Washington D.C. to lobby for the Lymphedema Treatment Act. She has worked as a NLN Ambassador and moderator for the NLN Modalities Discussion Groups and facilitated the NLN March Madness Micro-conference. In 2021, she started her own clinical training business, nPress, which focuses on treatment modalities education. Louisa hopes to employ her past experience with continuing to promote the mission of the NLN, build strong relationships with the lymphedema community and training programs to inspire therapists to seek careers in the world of lymphology.
