Become an Advocate

Introducing the LEAD Program

As part of our expanded programming initiative, we are proud to relaunch the original LSAP, the Lymphedema Science and Advocacy Program, now reimagined with fresh content, dynamic formats, and renewed purpose to meet today’s clinical and advocacy needs. This next chapter takes shape through the Lymphedema Education, Advocacy, & Development (LEAD) Program, a new initiative designed to strengthen awareness, education, and engagement across the lymphedema community.

The LEAD Program is intended to help individuals with lymphedema grow into informed, confident advocates who can raise awareness, support others, and help advance meaningful change. By building on the foundation of the original LSAP, this program reflects NLN’s continued commitment to empowering the community through education and advocacy.

Education, Empowerment, and Community

Through the LEAD Program, participants will have the opportunity to develop practical advocacy skills, access valuable resources, and become part of a growing network of passionate individuals working together to make a meaningful impact. The program is designed to support those who want to share their voice, strengthen community awareness, and contribute to broader conversations around lymphedema education and policy.

Whether your goal is to support others in the community or help elevate awareness in your local area, LEAD is being created to provide a strong foundation for advocacy and connection.
