The Marilyn Westbrook Garment Fund committee is comprised of amazing women who all for years have generously volunteered their time and clinical expertise so that people with lymphedema can be provided with compression garments.

Elissa Fiorito, OTR/L, CLT-LANA

Elissa is an Occupational Therapist who graduated from Quinnipiac College in 1997 with a BS in OT. She received her initial Lymphedema certification from Klose Norton Training and Consulting back in 2001 and was LANA certified in 2002.  Over the years, she has developed extensive experience working with Lymphedema patients of all ages and diagnosis. She has also done some assistant teaching over the years with the Norton School. At home, Elissa has been married for 19 years and has 3 wonderful children that keep her on her toes! Elissa has been volunteering with the NLN’s MWGF for the past 8 years and enjoys being able to give her time and expertise to this valuable organization.

Christina Berry, MS OTR/L CLT-LANA

Chrissy holds a Masters in Occupational Therapy from Touro College. She received her lymphedema certification from the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy in 2006 and her LANA certification in 2007. She studied Advanced  Lymphedema Therapy in Hinterzarten,Germany with Klose Consulting at the Foeldi Clinic in 2010. Chrissy started a private practice specializing in Lymphedema in 2008.  She also works part time with the Veterans Administration and has introduced Lymphedema Therapy to the homebound Veterans of Eastern Long Island, New York.  Chrissy is active in her community; she is a volunteer firefighter, an assistant Scout Master, and a deacon in her church .

Prior to becoming an OT Chrissy has a diverse history. She taught English in Japan, travelled solo through Thailand and Vietnam, instructed people with physical and mental challenges to ski in Breckinridge, Colorado, worked on a boat in Alaska, taught English and healthcare in Morocco as a Peace Corps volunteer and travelled through West Africa.

Chrissy is proud to be part of MWGF and all the good work it accomplishes.

Kristy Blair, PT, MSPT, DPT, CLT-LANA

Kristy graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Masters degree in Physical Therapy.  She continued her education, obtaining a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions.  She has worked primarily in outpatient physical therapy settings, beginning her career in orthopedics and sports medicine. For the past 10 years she has been dedicated to treating patients with lymphedema and other swelling disorders, as well as participating in cancer rehabilitation.   Kristy has been honored to participate as a Committee Member for the MWGF since 2013.
