Eric Ansart

SECRETARY

Eric Ansart, President of Lympha Press USA, has served the lymphedema community for nearly fifteen years. He began as a compression therapy consultant for a Delaware Valley medical device company, where his passion to help those with lymphatic disorders and raise awareness to these conditions was born. “When this chapter of my career started, lymphedema was often misdiagnosed or overlooked,” noted Ansart. “To see the tremendous strides made in research along with helping patients effectively manage their condition is extremely gratifying work.”

Building effective teams, encouraging individuals to fulfill their potential, and removing obstacles that keep them from accomplishing their goals are trademarks of Ansart’s professional career. He holds an MS in Organizational Leadership and enjoys a wide network of contacts based on his varied professional and personal interests.

An avid bike enthusiast and recreational diver and surfer, his Northern Florida location is perfect to explore these pursuits. “The outdoors refresh me,” adds Eric. “Being awed by the vastness of the world around me puts both the challenges and successes of life in perspective.” He’s also known for his baking skills (just ask him about his homemade scones!) and overall sense of adventure. What he would view as most important, however, are his roles as husband and father to two children – his favorite companions for every adventure.

Eric joined the National Lymphedema Network Board of Directors in 2021.

Louisa Boyd

DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL RELATIONS

Louisa Boyd holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Kansas. She received her lymphedema certification in 2011 from the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy and went on to obtain certification with the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA.) She was appointed as a regional liaison for LANA in 2012 and then was voted into the board of directors in 2013, where she remained an active member until 2021. During her lymphatic therapy career, she expanded the lymphedema program through her hospital system breast center to advocate for pre and post surgical lymphedema education and surveillance. She appeared on several public service commercials to educate on the topic of lymphedema, bioimpedance technology and axillary cording. She started a local lymphedema study group and organized a lymphedema educational event for medical professionals. In 2018, she went to Washington D.C. to lobby for the Lymphedema Treatment Act. She has worked as a NLN Ambassador and moderator for the NLN Modalities Discussion Groups and facilitated the NLN March Madness Micro-conference. In 2021,  she started her own clinical training business, nPress,  which focuses on treatment modalities education. Louisa hopes to employ her past experience with continuing to promote the mission of the NLN, build strong relationships with the lymphedema community and training programs to inspire therapists to seek careers in the world of lymphology.
