Guenter Klose

Necessary Pressure

Guenter Klose, MLD/CDT Certified Instructor, CLT-LANA received his initial training in Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) at the Foeldi Clinic in 1984 and became certified as Instructor for MLD/CDT in 1986.  He came to the United States in 1990 to assist Dr. Robert Lerner in establishing the first CDT treatment centers in the U.S. 

In 2003, Guenter established his own lymphedema training company, Klose Training, dedicated to providing the highest-quality live and online lymphedema therapy continuing education. He is a leading advocate for high-quality lymphedema treatment and has lectured extensively in the United States and abroad at conferences, therapist and physicians' meetings, and lymphedema support groups. Guenter is a member of the ISL and a founding member of the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA).

Bruno Chikly

Adjustable Pressure

Bruno Chikly, MD (France), DO (France, It., UK), LMT (AZ), is the director of the Lymph Drainage Therapy (LDT) and Brain curriculi. He received a medal of the Medical Faculty of Paris for his thesis on the lymphatics. He also wrote the first extensive book on the lymphatic system (and lipedema) in North America: Silent Waves, Theory and Practice of Lymph Drainage Therapy.

He extensively studied osteopathic techniques and other hands-on modalities, both in Europe and the United States, including Manual Lymphatic Therapies, Osteopathy in the Cranial field, Biodynamics program in Osteopathy, CranioSacral therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Mechanical Link, Muscle Energy, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, SomatoEmotional Release, etc. Dr. Chikly, is an international seminar leader, lecturer and writer he is past Adjunct Professor of the Union Institute and University Graduate College (University of Ohio), 2014 Massage Therapist Hall of Fame, recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award (December 2019). Dr Chikly has spoken to numerous medical and health-related groups and to many lymphedema support groups. He lives in Arizona with his wife and teaching partner Alaya Chikly, LMT.

Vicki Ralph

Significant Pressure

Vicki Ralph, OTR/L, CLT is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin where she received both her BS in Occupational Therapy and a Master’s in Public Policy Administration with a Concentration in Health Care Management.  She has worked in Wisconsin, Maryland, Virginia, and Colorado in both outpatient and inpatient settings.  In 2005, she received her certification in lymphedema management and in 2007 completed certification within the Lymphedema Association of North America.  Since 2010, she has been an instructor for Klose Training and taught lymphedema certification courses for Klose Training throughout the USA and world. 

Vicki works full-time as an OT Clinical Specialist for the University of Colorado Hospital system.  She is based in an outpatient clinic and maintains an even caseload of both UE, LE and Head and Neck lymphatic cases.  Her goal is to help UCHealth achieve recognition as a Center of Lymphatic Disease Excellence. 

Outside of work, Vicki enjoys skiing, biking, yoga, cooking and piano.   In 2020, she is hoping to learn to play the dulcimer.

Louisa Boyd

Measuring Pressure

Louisa has served on the board of directors for the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA) since 2012. She works in Bosque Farms, NM as an Occupational Therapist specializing in lymphedema and breast cancer rehabilitation. She is involved in multiple areas of community outreach to promote lymphedema awareness. She is also an instructor for Central New Mexico University for the Intelligent Pressure training program which integrates modern technology and methodology with manual treatments.
