Faculty for Panel Discussion on Genital Lymphedema
Rhian Noble-Jones
Dr. Noble-Jones, PhD, PgD, PgC, Cert. Management is based in the UK and is a researcher and a university faculty (lecturer). Rhian’s central tenet of research is the education needs of health professionals. In her doctorate (2010-2016) Rhian theorised a new model of health professional group working, the Asset-based Collaborative Working (ACW) model. It described the leadership, motivational, social and learning theories that influence professional groups as they work in resource neutral situations. In 2012 she also commenced research on the assessment of genital lymphoedema, which has developed into several studies over the last 8 years and continues to influence practice internationally. She is a National Lymphoedema Researchers for Lymphoedema Network Wales where projects include the recent international investigation of the education need of health care professionals in relation to managing genital oedema, the impact of COVID19 on national lymphoedema services, education needs regarding paediatric lymphoedema and the impact of poverty and comorbidity on lymphoedema self-management.
