Differential Upper Extremity Inflammatory Diagnoses - When Is It More than Lymphedema?
Karen’s passions in lymphedema practice are equipment innovation and development, treatment of underlying fibrosis and inflammation, and assessment of complex and difficult cases. She is considered an expert in clinical use of pneumatic compression and has participated in development of numerous devices and appliances. She currently works at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton, California, providing inpatient and outpatient lymphedema treatment. Karen also has a private consulting practice.
Louisa Boyd
Intelligent Pressure - Quantifying Your MLD Pressure
Louisa has served on the board of directors for the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA) since 2012. She works in Bosque Farms, NM as an Occupational Therapist specializing in lymphedema and breast cancer rehabilitation. She is involved in multiple areas of community outreach to promote lymphedema awareness. She is also an instructor for Central New Mexico University for the Intelligent Pressure training program which integrates modern technology and methodology with manual treatments.
Andrea Brennan

Andrea completed her post-professional clinical doctorate in occupational therapy with emphasis in health services administration and lymphedema management program development in 2012. In 2014, Andrea become a certified instructor in the Casley-Smith treatment method and created the Brennan School of Innovative Lymphatic Studies, which spearheads evidence-informed training and certification in lymphedema, lipedema, venous insufficiency and chronic swelling.
Leslyn Keith
Eat, Think, & Live Better - Sustaining Lifestyle Change
Leslyn Keith has a Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy with an emphasis on lymphedema and obesity. Dr. Keith has started four lymphedema therapy programs in California including two in private practice. In addition to treating lymphedema and other lymphatic disorders, she currently researches, consults, and lectures on lymphedema, lipedema, and obesity nationally. She is Director of Research for The Lipedema Project and an instructor for Klose Training and Consulting.
Kathleen Lisson
Therapy Post Mastectomy & Autologous Breast Reconstruction
Kathleen Helen Lisson, CLT is board certified in therapeutic massage and bodywork and is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. She owns Solace Massage and Mindfulness, has taught classes at IPSB Massage College in San Diego, CA USA and is a NCBTMB Approved Provider. She is the author of Plastic Surgery Recovery Handbook and holds a Bachelors of Applied Science degree in Massage Therapy. Kathleen was a speaker at the 2018 and 2019 Fat Disorders Resource Society conferences, a keynote speaker at the 2019 MLD UK conference and completed the Lymphedema Therapy Advanced and Review class at the Földi Clinic in Hinterzarten, Germany.

Dr. Joshua Trock is the Director of Rehab at a locally owned & operated home health company in San Antonio, Texas. He established the therapy department in 2011 which focuses on primary care physical therapy & novel treatments for edematous & lymphostatic diseases. He currently focuses on improving the quality & standard of care for individuals with lymphedema, CVI, phlebolymphedema, lipolymphedema, orthopedic edema, cardiac edema, & lipedema along with advanced practices for edematous wounds.
