It covers key surgical impacts on the lymphatic system, updated fluid physiology, and clinical applications including manual lymph drainage, compression garment assessment, bespoke foam use, and lymphatic taping. Please note that this course runs the full day on Friday and begins earlier than the general conference sessions, which start at 10:30 AM. The presentation aims to equip practitioners with skills to effectively stimulate the deep lymphatics and improve patient outcomes.

Charting the Course: Practical Pediatric CDT Techniques in Action		9/21/2025	9/21/2025	8:30 AM	10:00 AM	9/21/2025 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM Presenter: Betty Westbrook-Treat This immersive, in-person session explores specialized techniques for treating pediatric lymphedema beyond conventional Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) training. Designed for clinicians working with children as young as six months, the course covers age-appropriate manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) sequences, pediatric bandaging applications, sensorimotor integration strategies, and comprehensive skin care protocols. Emphasis is placed on developmental considerations, therapeutic adaptation, and family-centered care.
