Bethany Beckwith graduated from Ithaca College with her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2012 and was certified by the Academy of Lymphatic Studies in Complete Decongestive therapy in 2015. Since that time, she has been serving the southern tier region of upstate New York at UHS Binghamton General Hospital. She has a special interest in practice barriers, health equity, and implementation of Complete Decongestive Therapy. In 2025, she graduated with her Doctor of Clinical Science through the University of Pittsburgh and completed her doctoral capstone by researching and developing a course for lymphedema therapists that aimed to maximize their implementation of the CDT protocol. Bethany has been a guest speaker for several NLN events and continues to volunteer and advocate for the lymphedema therapy profession.
