Article and Research Review Submission Guidelines
Submissions must be educational and evidence-based, offering clinical insights, research summaries, or care strategies relevant to lymphatic health.
All content must be supported by current evidence, and a reference list citing the sources used is required.
Articles may be authored by clinicians, educators, researchers, or other subject-matter experts.
Submissions should be professional and accessible to a mixed audience of clinicians, patients, and caregivers, and should be free of promotional or marketing language.
Articles between 600 and 1,000 words are preferred.
Infographics, charts, or other visuals that support learning may be included. All visuals are subject to NLN review and approval.
Review, Acceptance, and Publication
Your article will be reviewed by the NLN to ensure it aligns with our educational standards, mission, and publication guidelines.
You will receive an email notification once a decision has been made. If your article is accepted, the message will include your assigned publication edition, if applicable, any requested edits or clarifications, and final steps and timelines for publication.
Some submissions may require minor edits for clarity, formatting, or alignment with NLN style. If revisions are requested, please return the updated version by the deadline provided in your acceptance email.
Once revisions are complete, you will receive a final confirmation that your article has been approved for publication.
Accepted articles will appear in the designated LymphLink edition and will be archived on lymphnet.org for ongoing community access.
