2023 National Lymphedema Network Conference


NLN Expert Clinician

The National Lymphedema Network Expert Clinician program was developed in 2021 to recognize lymphedema therapists with expertise in lymphedema therapy. These clinicians are offered the opportunity to receive individualized coaching from experts in the field of lymphology and demonstrate the their manual and clinical skills. Clinicians accepted into the program will receive an National Lymphedema Network Expert Clinician certificate and medallion, be distinguished by the designation in the NLN Lymphedema Therapy Directory, and can attend the entire 2023 Conference as part of the support for continued professional development supported by the NLN. This program is limited to ten clinicians.


Physical Therapy CEUs

The National Lymphedema Network is recognized by the New York State of Education Department’s State Board for physical therapists and physical therapy assistants as an approved provider of continuing education. The 2023 Conference will offer a maximum of 19.75 contact hours for the main program. Additional contact hours are offered to those who attend pre-conferences. Only learners who meet satisfactory completion requirements, that is passing by at least 70% scoring for each program, will be offered continuing education credits for each program.

This activity has been approved by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners for 29.75 CCUs for PTs and PTAs. Course approval number is 77976TX.


 

Occupational Therapy CEUs

The National Lymphedema Network is recognized by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) as an Approved Provider for professional development. The assignment of AOTA CEUs does not imply endorsement of specific course content, products, or clinical procedures by AOTA or indicate AOTA approval of a certification or other professional recognition. AOTA Provider number #165. Expires 7/8/2029. PD activity approval ID# 8148. This live conference activity is offered at up to 2.975 CEUs, OT Service Delivery, Professional Issues, Foundational Knowledge. AOTA does not endorse specific course content, products, or clinical procedures.


The National Lymphedema Network is in the process of becoming a provider for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB).

The NLN plans to submit for continuing education credit approvals from other states and organizations,
and we will update this page accordingly.
