Nancy A. Hutchison, MD is the Medical Director of Cancer Rehabilitation and Lymphedema for Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute and Virginia Piper Cancer Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Institutes are part of the Allina Hospitals and Clinics, a not-for-profit network of hospitals, clinics and other health care services, providing care throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin .Dr. Hutchison has quality and programmatic oversight for cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema services at 8 Allina Hospitals and 9 Sister Kenny Sports and Physical Therapy Outpatient Centers, including 33 Certified Lymphedema Therapists. Dr. Hutchison was awarded the 2009 Allina Hospitals and Clinics Uncommon Caring Award and the 2010 Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute Robert and Yvonne MacDonald Distinguished Employee Award for her work in creating a standard of excellence and uniform protocols for lymphedema and cancer rehabilitation care across the Allina system. Dr. Hutchison received certification as a Lymphedema Therapist from the Klose Training Institute in 2007, certification by the Lymphology Association of North America in 2008.
