Dr. Cheville is currently an Associate Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Prior to her current appointment she founded and directed the Lymphedema Service and Cancer Rehabilitation Program at the University of Pennsylvania Cancer Center for seven years. She is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and completed her training at the Kessler Rehabilitation Institutes and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In addition to her specialty of cancer rehabilitation, Dr. Cheville is trained and board certified in Pain Medicine. Her clinical practice and research interests encompass disablement in advanced cancers, lymphedema, and functional preservation in cancer survivorship. Dr. Cheville has written and lectured extensively on these topics. Dr. Cheville also is a member of the NLN Medical Advisory Committee and active contributor to the NLN LymphLink.
